7 Pornstars you might not have known were dead

Ever been watching a scene on a website or a DVD and remembered a girl’s face or name so that you can look for her later in order to find more stuff she has been in? In some instances the results for her latest titles may not be as you expect thanks to the industry trend of re-using content frequently for years upon end. This is a scenario that has resulted in some actresses and actors appearing after death in ‘brand new’ titles and updates to websites. Here’s a rundown of the top ten that most fans do not know are deceased or are still having previous footage of them used in new releases and websites.

1. Britney Madison

Britney, who joined the industry in 2003, was best known for her interracial scenes and had appeared in over 70 mainstream adult DVD releases for companies such as Zero Tolerance, Red Light District, Acid Rain and Anabolic before her untimely death in 2005. She was killed in a car crash with her boyfriend on the 30th of April 2005 in Las Vegas at age 21. Despite this, she can still be found on countless websites which license content from DVDs that she appeared in as well as specifically shot scenes of her just for the internet, many of which are branded as ‘new’ and ‘exclusive.

2. Linda Lovelace AKA Deep Throat

Linda Lovelace (real name Linda Susan Boreman) recieved international fame for her place in one of the defining adult movies of the century, ‘Deep Throat’ back in the 1970′s as well as doing shoots for Playboy and Esquire. In 1980 she became a feminist anti-pornography campaigner and many in the industry turned their backs on her (Hustler magazine, owned by Larry Flynt, even named her the ‘Asshole of the Month’). She died in April 2002 after a car accident at age 53, having never seen any royalties for the success of her most famous appearance.

3. Kim Kitaine

A veteran of over 140 video releases, Kim never really achieved the fame of some of her co-stars in her 9 years of performing, despite this she worked for some of the biggest companies in the industry including VCA, Evil Angel and Wicked Pictures. She died in April 1999 in a somewhat freak accident – after suffering a seizure while having a shower, her washcloth plugged the drain and she was found dead fifteen minutes later. Despite this videos and picture galleries can easily be found when searching for her name, which according to search engine statistics over 200 people still do every month. 4. Livia Choice

A stunning blonde, Livia was from Europe and was an extremely popular bondage/BDSM/fetish model for magazines and live expo across the continent – especially in Germany, a fact which her videography does not show fully (she only appeared in 2 video releases, Live And Loaded In Switzerland and Sluts from Abroad). Livia died in a car accident on the 9th of June 2005 while travelling to Boundcon II (an expo for fetish models and fans alike, which is now in it’s fourth year of running and is hosted in Munich)

5. Sheridan

Unrelated to the threats of lawsuits brought about by the Desperate Housewives actress, Sheridan was a nineteen year old brunette who had been in the industry for one year and appeared in 13 titles (for production companies such as New Sensations, Evil Angel and Swank) when she died on the way home from a shoot for the Eromaxx network of pornwebsites in a car crash on the 20th of December 2006. 6. Julie Robbins

A brunette star who began working in the industry in 2000, Julie was one of the many girls who helped popularise reality style and primarily gonzo video production techniques. For those who don’t know gonzo is where performers act aware of the camera and put on no facade for what they are performing, it is fairly industry standard apart from themed DVD releases nowdays. Julie died in a car accident on September 22nd 2005 while she was still active and frequently performing for new releases as well as updates for websites.

7. Anna Malle

Like so many of the girls in the industry, Anna gained many of her fans from her early appearances in the ‘Dirty Debutantes’ franchise, she then moved up into more hardcore niches which included performing in scenes for Max Hardcore, one of the most infamous producers/performers in porn. This gained her much recognition and many contrasted her two Belladonna (primarily due to their similar looks). She was killed on the 25th of January 2006 in a car accident, a year after retiring from the industry.

Bambi Woods

Title girl in the ‘Debbie Does Dallas’ franchise, Bambi appeared in the Dallas sequels and one of the ‘Swedish Erotica’ franchise titles in 1981 and has never been heard from in the industry since, a common rumour (one propagated by information posted to IMDB) is that she died of a drug overdose in 1986 although their are slightly more ludicrous theories about her dissapearance including an accident in the supposed ‘Debbie Does Farmland’ production. One of the strongest possibilities is that she reverted to her real name and avoided the spotlight or perhaps moved abroad.
