2005 : Year of the Solo Girls

As the year comes to a close, it’s not hard to see that solo girl sites have exploded over the past twelve months, with more than ever being launched. Even the bigger sponsors are getting on in the trend which shows that there is money to be made. Today we are asking, how long until this market becomes saturated, and is there long term money to be made in the production of sites focused on one girl. We also ask why big name pornstars like Taylor Rain have not entered the niche yet.

Let’s start by examining the newcomers, girls like Alyssa Doll who have started up this year and are willing to do anything it takes to convert your members, these sites have been started under programs which show that the prime factor for their creation was money for affiliates and the site owner, unlike some of the earlier sites which were started by girls themselves and did not have affiliate programs.

Compared to girls like Melissa Midwest who started their sites many years ago and up date extremely frequently, while taking an active interest in the members of their site and what they want, these company driven sites seem to pale. We are not saying there isn’t money in promoting them, but there’s a chance that you might not get that long term member base who really are in love with the featured girl.

By having surfers go for the girl next door philsophy you need to have a girl that appears to run her own site and be the main driving force behind keeping it up, instead of well designed tours and technical forums which most surfers can recognise the girl did not build. Then you have to factor in the surfers that just want a quick fix and do not care on what the content is like at all. It’s a hard market to guage and we will be exploring it further in the future.
