WegCash 2257

WegCash today made their announcement on the 2257 regulations, they have more serious announcements than some of the other sponsors, so this one is a must read for those who promote them.

As promised we are taking all necessary steps to ensure that Wegcash is 2257 compliant by the effective date of the new regulations. As also promised we will give you; our affiliates and our most important asset, the necessary tools and information to be 2257 compliant. Our intent is to complete this process with as little disruption to your business as possible.

The following will set forth, in detail, the specific actions we are taking and the steps that our affiliates will need to take in order to be 2257 compliant.

WEGCash (EZPass)

• Trailer Trash has been removed from the EZPass portfolio of sites and all traffic has been redirected to RawXXXPorn effective today.
• Remove any banners, HPA’s, FPA’s, tour screen shots or other sexually explicit promotional materials currently in use for promotion of EZPass sites.
• Any free content previously downloaded from the affiliate area of WEGCash must be removed from your servers by 6/22/2005.
• We will be removing all previously released hosted galleries from the system by 6/22/2005. We are working on a solution that will ensure you receive credit from sign ups generated by use of these old hosted galleries.
• We will be launching new 2257 compliant tours for all EZPass sites in addition to replacement tours for existing EZPass sites by 6/21/2005. Please remember you may not use screen shots of the new tours for promotion until we provide a system by which you can retrieve the necessary 2257 records.
• We are currently in the process of providing 2257 compliant banners and promotional materials on which we will provide updates as soon as they are available.
• We will be adding all new 2257 compliant hosted galleries by 6/21/2005 for all new and replacement EZPass tours.

WEGCash (Join4Free)

• Remove any banners, HPA’s, FPA’s, tour screen shots or other sexually explicit promotional materials currently in use for promotion of Join4Free sites
• Any free content previously downloaded from the affiliate area of WEGCash must be removed from your servers by 6/22/2005.
• We will be launching new 2257 compliant tours for all Join4Free in addition to replacement tours for existing Join4Free sites by 6/21/2005. Please remember you may not use screen shots of the new tours for promotion until we provide a system by which you can retrieve the necessary 2257 records.
• We are currently in the process of providing 2257 compliant banners and promotional materials for which we will provide updates as soon as they are available.
• We will be adding all new 2257 compliant hosted galleries by 6/21/2005 for all new and replacement Join4Free tours.

EZCams

• If you are using any standard banners, odd sized banners, FPA’s or HPA’s that were provided by WEGCash you do not need to make any changes
• If you are using the dynamic cam ad generator to promote EZCams you do not need to make any changes or obtain any records
• If you use screen caps from any WEGCash designed EZCam tours you do not need to make any changes or obtain any records
• Effective 6/22/2005 WEGCash will not provide any sexually explicit (hardcore) promotional materials or tours for the promotion of EZCams. If you choose to promote EZCams using this type of material you must license it and provide the necessary records for that content.
