Webmaster Blogging
Blogs are all the rage in the adult industry at the moment, everyone is out there with a copy of WordPress or Blogger looking to make some money. This is all very well and good, and it is true that there is money to be made in blogs, but not the way some people are doing it.
In the last few weeks, we have seen hundreds of blogs that are just using the default template of the blog software they chose, with a few pictures and an affiliate link. This is NOT the way to run a blog, the whole point of a blog is to keep visitors revisiting, and to actually have them interested in your content, instead of just making it a glamorised link list.
Fleshbot.com is an example of one of the best surfer blogs around, they not only provide entertaining news for the surfers, but a mix of content which keeps visitors returning daily, and secures the site’s revenue stream.
If you want to do a blog, do it right. Don’t just stop posting after a week because you aren’t getting the amount of Search Engine traffic you expected, or no-one was signing up to the ref codes you were posting in your articles. Keep at it, and view you blog from the surfer’s point of view – would you continually visit a site that posted a few free pictures and a ref code every day?
With this huge surge in blog creation at the moment, you have to stay one step ahead of the game if you want to come out on top and succeed in creating a great blog.
